Hi there,
Welcome to this week’s edition of Prompt & Pivot. I hope you’ve had at least a few moments to catch your breath lately—and if not, maybe this will be a little pocket of calm in your day. Let’s slow things down for a few minutes and talk about those times when life feels like it’s coming at you from all sides. This week was one of them for me!
📖 This Week’s Read
Feeling Drained? Here’s My Go-To Routine for Regaining Balance

My latest blog post is about one of those weeks. You know the kind—everything piles up at once, from work deadlines to personal commitments, and suddenly you’re running on fumes. I share what that looked like for me recently (yes, including the 3:07 a.m. wakeups) and the simple reset routine I turn to when I need to get back to steady ground.
🌿 Something to Ponder
When everything feels like too much, what’s the first thing you let go of? Is it something that actually supports you, or something that just takes up space?
Sometimes we cut the very things that help us stay grounded—like rest, movement, or connection—when life is hectic. This week, notice what you tend to drop first, and ask yourself if it’s really the best thing to let go of.
📓 This Week’s Journal Prompt
“What small shift could I make today that would help me feel more steady, even if everything else stays the same?”
🌬️ Breathe + Be
Right now, take one slow breath in through your nose, feeling your ribs expand. Hold it for a count of two. Then exhale slowly through your mouth, letting your shoulders drop just a little.
Do that twice more—no rush. Just a moment to remind your body you’re safe to soften.
💌 Until Next Time
If your week is already feeling a little overloaded, I hope something here gives you permission to pause and choose what truly matters. And if you’re in the middle of a big life shift or figuring out your next chapter, remember—you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m always happy to talk things through with you.
Here’s to finding your steady ground,
Albert
